Overview:
Mammoth, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, aggressive, and intelligent individual to fill the role of Service Operations Lead. This person will be responsible for all aspects of Mammoth, Inc.’s Service Division and reporting directly to Mammoth’s owners.
Essential Functions/ Major Responsibilities of Service Operations Lead:
- Manage subordinates and equipment to achieve maximum production efficiency while minimizing costs
- Schedule work through coordination with clients, subcontractors, and employees
- Manage and balance daily workloads so that deadlines, expectation, and quality are achieved
- Manage and track daily work orders and invoicing
- Enforce company policies and safety program
- Working knowledge of MEP excavation, trenching, and backfill operations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience and maturity to coach and train employees in a positive manor
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with vendors, clients, and coworker
- Ability to deal with change & adversity while keeping a schedule and meeting deadlines
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Experience with scheduling software is a plus
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Ability to complete routine reporting and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as yardage, tonnage, circumference, and volume is required. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry is a plus.
